Does This Fit My V60?
This fitment covers the first-generation V60, model years 2010 through 2018, on Volvo’s P3 platform. Every car in that range shares the same 5×108 pattern, the same 63.4mm hub bore, and the same M14x1.5 lug bolts, so one spec answers the question across the whole production run.
That includes the T5, the T6, the T6 R-Design, and the V60 Polestar. The Polestar carries the largest front brake Volvo fitted to this chassis, six-piston Brembo calipers on 371mm floating discs, and the 19×9.5 +42 spec clears it. Trim does not change the numbers on this car. It only changes what the wheel has to clear behind the spokes.
Two variants sit outside this guide. The V60 Cross Country rides 65mm higher on different arch and liner geometry, and it left the factory on a narrower 18×7.5 wheel, so the clearance math is genuinely different. The second-generation V60 built from 2019 forward is a different platform on different hub geometry. Here is what the car left the factory on. Volvo spread six configurations across four diameters on this chassis, from a 17×7 on the base T5 up to a 20×8 on the Polestar, and every one of them sits at a +50 or +55 offset.
That offset is the story of this platform. It seats the wheel face deep inside the barrel, which is safe, quiet, and clears everything. It also leaves the arches noticeably empty on a car with the proportions to fill them, and it gives the wheel almost no room to build concavity.
The 5×108 pattern is the other constraint, and it is the reason V60 owners spend more time hunting than shopping. Volvo shares it with European Fords and a handful of Jaguars, so the volume that drives aftermarket tooling toward 5×114.3 and 5×112 never arrived here.

Every factory configuration on this chassis sits at +50 or +55, which is why the arches read empty even on the 20-inch Polestar wheel. The Polestar also carries the largest factory brake on the platform, a six-piston Brembo on 371mm front discs.

One square setup covers the chassis. We kept the 19-inch diameter the R-Design car was engineered around, widened it to 9.5 inches for real tire, and pulled the offset from +55 down to +42 so the face finishes at the body line instead of hiding behind it. Same wheel on all four corners.
Two tire sizes work on this width. A 265/30R19 is the common pick and comes in at 25.3 inches overall. A 275/30R19 puts more contact patch down at 25.5 inches. Both have been run on cars sitting at factory ride height without fender work.

The factory 19-inch R-Design wheel measures 26.4 inches overall, so both of these tire sizes sit shorter than stock and you can expect a small speedometer shift. The 275/30R19 at 25.5 inches lands almost exactly on the 18-inch T6 diameter. Both are square across all four corners, so the drivetrain sees matched rolling circumference either way.
Brake Clearance: This fitment clears every brake package fitted to the Gen 1 V60, including the Polestar’s six-piston Brembo front setup and aftermarket Rotora kits, which run larger than anything Volvo installed. All three models are machined hub-centric to 63.4mm, so the wheel seats on the hub and carries its load through the hub rather than through the bolts. No centering rings, ever. Factory TPMS sensors carry over, and the wheels accept your OE Volvo center caps.

Why 19x9.5 +42 Is the Number on a P3
The interesting part of this fitment is not the width. It is where the width goes.
An 8J wheel at +55 sits with 46.6mm of face outboard of the mounting pad. A 9.5J wheel at +42 sits with 78.6mm outboard. That is 32mm more wheel pushed toward the fender, while the inner barrel only moves 6mm further in. Almost the entire gain lands on the outside, which is why this fitment changes how the car looks so completely, and why the offset number matters more than the width number on a chassis that ships this far inboard.
Go further out than +42 on a 9.5 and the tire starts finding the liner under compression. Stay closer to factory and you have spent money on a wider wheel that still sits in a hole. The 13mm we pulled out is the whole range this chassis gives you at that width.
Square is the right answer here for two reasons. The V60 sends drive to all four wheels on most of the trims worth putting wheels on, and matched rolling circumference at every corner is what that hardware expects to see. It also means you can rotate tires, which matters on a wagon that carries weight and works its front rubber.
Then there is the pattern itself. 5×108 pushes owners toward adapters, and adapters add unsprung weight, introduce a failure point, and shift the wheel outboard in a way that quietly changes your scrub radius. We machine the pattern directly. No adapters, no rings, no corners cut.
Verified Suspension
Lowering a Volvo V60, Including the Polestar
The 19×9.5 +42 spec holds on a lowered car. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and offset do not change with ride height. What changes is tire clearance at full compression and your alignment, and both are manageable with the right parts.
The Polestar deserves a straight answer here, because the internet does not give one. It left the factory on Öhlins DFV dampers matched to springs roughly 80 percent stiffer than the T6 R-Design springs, and those springs were valved to those dampers as a pair. Conventional lowering springs built for the standard strut do not work on it. H&R says so directly in its own fitment data for this chassis, and Polestar owners on the forums have been arriving at the same conclusion for years. The realistic options are a full coilover that replaces the strut assembly outright, or leaving the Öhlins alone and adjusting what it gives you.
One thing to check before you order any spring: Volvo offered an optional rear automatic level control on the V60, factory option code 021. Several spring kits are rated for cars without it and will not install correctly on cars that have it. Pull your build sheet.
Get an alignment after any suspension change, no exceptions. And if you lower a car with Four-C, budget for a dealer recalibration so the self-levelling headlights keep reading ride height correctly.

Where The Weight Comes Off
A wheel is unsprung and rotating, so weight taken off there does more work than weight taken off anywhere else on the car. The suspension recovers faster over broken pavement, turn-in tightens, and the brakes and driveline have less rotational inertia to fight.
Our Spun Forged process starts with a cast aluminum blank that is spun and formed under high pressure while heated. Compressing the barrel material produces a wheel that is lighter and stronger than a conventional cast wheel without the cost of a full billet forging.
The factory reference points are a 19×8 cast alloy at 27 lb and an 18×8 cast alloy at 25 lb. Our fitment is 19×9.5, an inch and a half wider than the 19-inch factory wheel, and the TEN still comes in 4.10 lb lighter per corner than the wheel it replaces. Wider and lighter at the same time is the point of the construction.

The Gen 1 V60 uses a 5x108 bolt pattern, also written as 5x4.25 inches, with M14x1.5 lug bolts torqued to 103 ft-lbs. It is a less common pattern than 5x114.3 or 5x112, shared mostly with European Fords and some Jaguars, which is why aftermarket selection is thin on this chassis compared to almost anything else in its class.
