No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prevents a manufacturer from voiding a warranty due to aftermarket parts unless those parts directly cause a specific failure. Project 6GR wheels and accessories install as dealer-added accessories at point of sale, the same as any other dealer option. Every Project 6GR wheel also carries a lifetime structural warranty.
The program covers every Ford Mustang platform: S197 (2005 to 2014), S550 (2015 to 2023), and S650 (2024 and newer) — including EcoBoost, GT, Dark Horse, GT350, GT350R, GT500, Mach 1, and Boss 302.
Yes. Accessories installed before delivery are included in the vehicle's total price and financed through your standard F&I process. For most buyers, it adds a modest amount to their monthly payment for a significantly upgraded car.
