Today we are showcasing 6GR family member Junior’s 2016 Vortech Supercharged Race Red Mustang GT. It is rocking our 20″ Project 6GR Ten Spoke wheels finished in Brushed Aluminum with the matching billet forged center caps. Specs are 20×10 275/30/20, 20×11 305/30/20 with Nitto NT555g2 tires up front and Nitto NT555R2 drag radials in the rear. This car is slammed on BC racing coilovers and has a many other drag racing suspension parts from BMR, UPR and STEEDA. The fitment on this car is just right, he states he’s been through many sets of wheels, tires and alignment adjustments to achieve this stance.
The heart of this beast is the Vortech V3 supercharger that is fed with E85 from the Fore Innovations return style fuel system. For the drivetrain the car has a one-piece aluminum driveshaft and a Lethal Performance twin disk clutch. The boss manifold was painted to match the car along with many other red, white and black accents around the car. There are many carbon fiber pieces that were added to the vehicle’s interior and exterior as a nice touch. The mgw short shifter and custom corsa active exhaust are some of junior’s favorite things about the car. The car has aftermarket morimoto headlights and euro style tail lights along with a cervini front lip and upper/lower grilles.
