2023 LA Auto Show Galpin Ford/Project 6GR

Hello Everyone, we had a chance to check out the 2023 LA Auto Show this year! The LA Auto show is event held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It is open to the public for ten days, filling 760,000 square feet of exhibit space. This year Galpin Ford had their own section at the show showcasing many amazing vehicles. A couple with our Project 6GR wheels! Two 2024 mustangs and a 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT. On display they had everything, from off-road vehicles to a 1 of 1 Ford GT. The rest of the show had vehicles ranging from EV everyday vehicles, Lowrider classics, Kevin Harts personal car collection, the all new Mustang GTD race car and all the way to full carbon fiber super cars. A great experience overall for all car enthusiast to enjoy. Check out all these pictures we captured from the show!

There were many amazing cars at the show, we would like to focus a little on the all the Ford Mustang GTD. A street legal track monster that is powered by the 5.2 Liter Supercharged Predator motor making a estimated 800hp! This is the first dry-sump engine oil system on a road legal Mustang. The engine’s 7,500 rpm redline sings through a available option titanium active valve exhaust system.  The suspension and aero on the GTD is on another level. The active aerodynamics with the wing and a advanced dual ride height short-long arm front and multi-link rear suspension is what makes this vehicle. The lightweight Magnesium wheels and the carbon ceramic brakes are a big part of the vehicle’s performance. For the drivetrain it is equipped with a rear mounted 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft for near 50/50 weight distribution. A amazing machine on paper, the real test will be once it is released to the public.

Overall the LA Auto Show is a great experience for car lovers. You have a little bit of everything being showcased at the show. It is a once a year event so make sure to not miss out.
